It's approximately .4 mi from the center of Parking Lot F to the team camps, and an additional .2 mi to the Valley Loop section of the race course. Please plan accordingly.
Uniform; Cabrillo race singlet and black shorts
Running/racing shoes
Extra clothes to travel to and from the meet
Sunscreen
Water (lots of water!)
Food/Snacks (see the Food/Lunch section)
We recommend that everyone pack a lunch. Once we get into the meet and set up camp we basically have a large team picnic.
Athletes (and families) should also bring enough food and snacks to last until the pizza party at 6:30pm. There are some food vendors at the meet, but they have limited options and should not be relied upon.
After traveling to Mt. SAC we will meet as a team at the north entrance into Hilmer Lodge Stadium. We will pick up our team packet and then distribute the bibs to the athletes. Athletes must present their bib number to enter the stadium.
The athletes can enter starting at 11am, general spectators can enter at 12pm.
Our team camp will be located on the south end of the stadium on the grass area behind the large scoreboard. Look for the Cabrillo tent and flag. This where the athletes can keep their gear and food and where families can gather throughout the day.
At the conclusion of the middle school races we will be going to Shakey's Pizza Parlor for dinner and games. The team will be providing pizza and drinks for the athletes. Families are encouraged to join us but will need to purchase their own pizza and drinks.
